Heat transfer paper or T-shirt transfer papers are used for t-shirt printing. The heat press machine or T-shirt printing machine is used to print an image on paper. The heat press can transfer the image onto clothing, canvas, or another surface. It is a personal preference, although I prefer to have them on the front because if you have a design on the back of your shirt and wear a zip-up sweater or have very long hair you can’t see the design.
I don’t think there is a right or wrong answer to this question, it is more of a personal preference.
