Bangladesh have out-foxed us in Silk Processing costs. The reason for this – i am unsure of to this day. Most of Bangladeshs dominance is associated with their increased friendship with the Chinese. Their Large Scale model dominance, Their Labor Chain and Skill Training, Their local component industry set ups and their cheaper processing methods – all look like Chinese inspirations. Regaining it – is unlikely – unless we decide to copy what the Bangladeshis are doing which would require a lot of legislation and a lot of bitter fights at every level.
