There are a few ways to keep your shirt tucked in when it gets turned inside out. One way is to tuck the shirt into your pants or skirts so that it doesn’t come untucked. Another way is to wear a belt to keep the shirt in place. You can also try wearing a shirt that is a little bit tighter so that it doesn’t come untucked as easily. I personally love a classic, fitted t-shirt. I think they are flattering on any body type and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Absolutely, yes, it is advantageous to turn clothes inside out before washing. It keeps them from rubbing against other clothing as much, so they experience less wear, so they look newer (pill & fade less, esp along seams) for longer. I’ve tried to wash all our clothes inside out for decades. Whenever I or family members miss something or just don’t care, it looks worse bc it wasn’t turned inside out. With too many clothes in the washer, the clothes will not tumble, which means your clothes will not have the needed mechanical friction to scrub the clothes and at the end of the cycle, the only difference you will notice is you will still have a washer full of dirty clothes, but they will be all wet.
