Some generic switches on the market have THREE electrical terminals and TWO hose-nipples to install the wires and hose; a bit confusing - which one will you use?

This switch is factory calibrated - ready to use, no need for complicated adjustments!
Don't compare this commercial vacuum switch with the cheaper and flimsy lightweight version...

few common reasons for low negative air pressure:
You'll find a lot more info on the supplied instructions!
A stove door is not completely closed.
Door seals or gaskets might be letting air into the stove.
A dirty or failing combustion fan is not producing enough firebox vacuum.
Build up in the combustion chamber, the exhaust pipe or the entire vent may cause a loss of vacuum pressure.
Some folks suggest to blow air in the vacuum switch and listen for a clicking sound. Don't do that because the switch is build to detect very slight amounts of vacuum. Your switch is probably already ruined at this useless experiment!
If the negative pressure
drops below the designated range, the switch opens and interrupt the power to the control board, to the feed motor and igniter.
This switch is built to detect very slight amounts of vacuum and could stop working accurately because of mechanical defects.
Stove parts will get less reliable as time passes, especially vacuum switches and hose. After a while, the vacuum hose comes to get stiff and cracked from aging and the heat, causing many unpredictable stoves shutdowns. It is a good habit to replace both parts on your stove, to have your stove running when you need it the most!
